Times Square is a major intersection in New York City in the borough of Manhattan and was named after the Times Building. It retains the top spot on our list. Times Square, sometimes known as the "Crossraods of the World", has achieved the status of an iconic world landmark and has become a symbol of its city. Time Square has become a symbol and primarily landmark in its home city. It is principally defined by its spectaculars, animated, digital advertisements that create an incredibly exciting vibe contributing to Times Square popularity to both tourists, locals and the Manhattan business community.

The Las Vegas is the most populous city in the U.S. Billed as The Entertainment Capital of the World, it is famous for the number of casino resorts and associated entertainment. The "Neon Trail" that comprises the heart of Sin City is also a part of the federal government's National Scenic Byways Program, which designates roads based on "archeological, cultural, historic, recreational and scenic qualities", that best describe Vegas. It is an internationally renowned major resort city for gambling, shopping and entertainment.

Mexico

The Yucatan and Pacific coast areas are famous for their magnificient beaches and spectacular marine life. Acapulco, Cancun, Isla Cozumel, Zihuatanejo and Isla Mujeres are some of the resort towns in the area that are popular with scuba divers and sun worshippers from around the globe.
Snorkel with schools of brightly colored fish off the coast of Tulum Maya or discover the treasures of the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, one of the largest protected areas of tropical forest in the world. Take a boat trip to the tranquil palm fringed beach of Las Animas or explore the mangrove tunnels of Cuyutlan that are renowned for their giant turtles. Those with a taste for adrenaline can even book themselves on a nighttime crocodile tour of the lagoons of Parque Punta Sur. Just north of the Yucatan region are the equally impressive areas of Oaxaca and Veracruz. The world famous Olmac stone heads are situated in the west of Tabasco in the Parque La Venta while the tombs of classical Mayan rulers can be found at the Templo de las Inscripciones in Palenque. The timeless village of San Juan Chamula provides you with a glimpse into the ancient world of Mayan religion, while those looking to escape from civilization and revisit the magic of the past can hike to the Mayan sites buried deep in the forest areas near Bonampak and Yaxchilan. The central and northern areas of Mexico include the semitropical states of Jalisco and Michoacan, the old mining towns of Zacatecas and Real de Catorce and the buzzing hub of Mexico City. Visit the Monarch butterfly sanctuary near El Rosario and witness millions of Monarch butterflies sailing through the air.
